Nuclear Powered Warship Departure and Post-departure Surveys and Periodic Surveys

On and after departure of a nuclear powered warship and quarterly, environmental samples such as sea water and sea sediment at ports are collected and analyzed for radioactivity. Results of the analysis are posted on this website once they become available.

The Secretariat of the Nuclear Regulation Authority conducts the measurement of radiation levels in the air and sea water the day before a nuclear powered warship calls in, during its stay, and on its departure using monitoring posts and monitoring boats.
